Your Love Verses, Mine

Legs open like a game lad,
You sat back
Relaxed,
Listening and conversing and unveiling my heart,
All curls
Floundering in flumes,
Splashing round a lean bust
And framing
In licking flamed tongues
A wickering archway
A fine, kind face
Relentlessly,
Again
Again
Wild winky smiles
Sparked emerald island eyes,
Green they were
And I didn’t notice
‘Til too late for a good poet,
Enraptured in the actual connect
Of you being a mother
A lover
And another one of myself.
